The Midland test starts from the licensing hub on Cowie Court. Four spots trip riders up most. The railway crossing near Helena and Meadow Street — don't nose into the marked zone on a guess, hold back until there's a clear, motorcycle-length gap on the far side. The Great Eastern Highway merge — hesitate here and you'll get squeezed out by trucks, so commit with a proper head check and a decisive move. The right turns at Lloyd Street and Morrison Road — it's all about reading your gap against oncoming traffic. And the school zones through Woodbridge, Hazelmere and Bellevue, including around Bushmead and Chatham Road, where a missed speed drop can cost you the test. Four years running this route almost daily means none of it catches you off guard on your lesson.
